Welcome to No Baking Dessert! We’re genuinely glad you’re here. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are the legal agreement between you and us about how you can use our website and recipes.
We know—legal documents aren’t exactly exciting reading. But we’ve tried to make this as clear and straightforward as possible. By using our website (nobakingdessert.com), you’re agreeing to these terms. If something doesn’t make sense or you have questions, email us at [email protected]. We’re happy to clarify.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using No Baking Dessert (nobakingdessert.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you don’t agree with any of these terms, please don’t use our website.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses our website, whether you’re just browsing recipes, subscribing to our newsletter, leaving comments, or interacting with our content in any way.
Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top and notify subscribers of significant changes via email. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Use of Our Website & Content
What You Can Do
You’re welcome to:
- View and Use Recipes: Browse, read, and follow our recipes for personal, non-commercial use in your own kitchen.
- Print Recipes: Print recipes for personal use (like taping to your fridge or keeping in a recipe binder).
- Share Links: Share links to our recipes on social media, in emails to friends, or in blog posts.
- Pin Images: Pin our recipe photos to Pinterest (we appreciate it!) as long as they link back to the original recipe.
- Make & Sell: You can make our recipes and sell the finished desserts (at bake sales, farmer’s markets, small businesses, etc.). We just ask that you don’t claim the recipe as your own creation.
What You Can’t Do
Please don’t:
- Copy Full Recipes: Don’t republish our complete recipes on your own website, blog, or publication without permission. You can share a brief excerpt (1-2 sentences) with a link back to our site, but the full recipe should remain on No Baking Dessert.
- Steal Photos: Don’t download and republish our recipe photos as if they’re yours. If you want to use our images, ask first at [email protected].
- Remove Attribution: If you’re sharing our content in any permitted way, keep our name and link attached. Don’t present our work as your own.
- Create Recipe Apps or eBooks: Don’t compile our recipes into apps, eBooks, or printed cookbooks for sale or distribution without explicit written permission.
- Use Content Commercially: Don’t use our recipes, photos, or written content for commercial purposes (advertising, product packaging, marketing materials) without a licensing agreement.
- Scrape or Copy the Entire Site: Don’t use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to copy large portions of our website.
Bloggers & Content Creators: Want to share one of our recipes? Here’s what we ask: Write your own introduction and experience with the recipe (did you make it? did your family love it?), include 1-2 sentences from our recipe as a teaser, include one photo (with credit), and link to the full recipe on our site. That’s it! This helps readers find our original recipe while letting you share your genuine experience.

Recipe & Food Safety Disclaimer
This is really important: While we test our recipes thoroughly and provide accurate information to the best of our ability, we can’t control what happens in your kitchen.
No Guarantees: We provide recipes and information “as is” without guarantees that they’ll work perfectly in every situation. Results can vary based on ingredient brands, kitchen temperature, equipment differences, and execution.
Food Safety is Your Responsibility: You’re responsible for following safe food handling practices. This includes:
- Storing ingredients and finished desserts at proper temperatures
- Using fresh, safe ingredients (checking expiration dates, etc.)
- Following time and temperature guidelines for refrigeration
- Practicing good kitchen hygiene
- Being aware of food allergies and dietary restrictions
Allergen Information: We try to note common allergens in our recipes, but we can’t guarantee our information is complete or that ingredients haven’t changed. If you have food allergies, always read ingredient labels carefully and consult with medical professionals about safe foods for your specific situation.
Not Professional Medical or Nutritional Advice: Any nutritional information we provide is estimated using standard calculation tools and should not be considered medical or professional nutritional advice. For specific dietary needs or health concerns, consult a registered dietitian or healthcare provider.
External Links
Our website includes links to other websites (ingredient suppliers, equipment recommendations, related resources). We’re not responsible for:
- The content, accuracy, or practices of external websites
- Any transactions you make with external websites
- Privacy policies of other sites (they govern themselves)
- Products or services offered by third parties
Affiliate Links: Some links on our site are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we genuinely use or believe are valuable. Affiliate relationships don’t influence our recipe content or recommendations—we test and create recipes based on what works, not what earns commissions.
When you click a link and leave No Baking Dessert, you’re subject to that website’s terms and policies.
Disclaimer of Warranties
We work hard to provide accurate, helpful content, but legally we need to be clear about limitations:

We don’t warrant that:
- The website will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected immediately
- The website is free from viruses or harmful components
- Information on the site is complete, accurate, or current (though we do our best!)
- Recipes will work perfectly in every situation
Technical Issues: Sometimes websites have technical problems—pages don’t load, images go missing, or features stop working. We’ll fix issues as quickly as we can, but we can’t guarantee 24/7 perfect functionality.

In plain English: We’re not liable if a recipe doesn’t work perfectly, if you have an allergic reaction to an ingredient, if the website is temporarily down, or for any other problems that arise from using our site. We’re here to share recipes and information, not to provide guarantees or assume liability for outcomes in your kitchen.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for incidental damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless No Baking Dessert (and Jennifer, Meriam, and Jessie) from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of our website
- Your violation of these Terms

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and won’t affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
In other words: If one part of these Terms doesn’t hold up legally, the rest still applies.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and No Baking Dessert regarding your use of the website.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms doesn’t constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Just because we don’t immediately act on a violation doesn’t mean we’ve given up our right to act later.
A Final Note From Us:
Look, we know these Terms are lengthy and full of legal protections. Here’s the heart of it: we want you to use and enjoy our recipes. Make them for your family, share the joy of dessert, tag us in your creations. Just respect our work the way you’d want your work respected—give credit where it’s due, don’t claim our recipes as yours, and be kind in the community.
If you’re ever unsure about whether something’s okay, just ask. We’re approachable humans who genuinely want to help. — Jennifer, Meriam & Jessie
