Description

This hot honey ground beef bowl is a quick, flavor-packed meal combining tender seasoned beef with a sticky, spicy-sweet glaze. It’s perfect for weeknights, meal prep, or trending TikTok dinner nights.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)

1/4 cup honey

1 tsp chili flakes (or to taste)

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 cups cooked white or brown rice

Toppings: sliced cucumber, pickled onions, sesame seeds, green onions, fried egg

Instructions

1. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.

2. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and soy sauce.

3. In a small saucepan, combine honey, chili flakes, and vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

4. Pour hot honey sauce over cooked beef. Stir well to coat.

5. Scoop cooked rice into bowls and top with beef mixture.

6. Add fresh toppings like pickled onions, cucumbers, sesame seeds, and fried egg.

7. Drizzle extra hot honey over top and serve warm.

Notes

You can use ground turkey, chicken, or tofu for a lighter version.

For more heat, add sriracha or extra chili flakes to the honey glaze.

This dish stores well for up to 4 days in the fridge.
